Abbey is a Law-Psychology PhD student who graduated with her MS in Experimental Psychology from the University of Idaho in 2024 and a BS in Psychology in 2022. She completed her Master’s Thesis on adultification in the criminal legal system and ways to reduce racial biases during sentencing processes. Abbey is interested in the social cognition of legal decision-making, barriers to civil justice, and the psychology of inequity in the legal system. Outside of the lab, you can find Abbey with her fluffy friend, Jasper the Tuxedo Cat, reading, biking, or powerlifting.
